The Syracuse Orange are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. So that should tell you how little Vegas thinks of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons...
According to Vegas, the Orange are a four-point favorite for the game, which kicks at noon (obviously) on Saturday, October 18 at BB&T Stadium in Winstom Salem, NC.
The Orange (2-4) are coming off of a loss to No. 2 Florida State that served as a moral victory for a team working with a new offensive coordinator and two new quarterbacks. The Orange seem to have found a new signal-caller in A.J. Long though the official decision on who will take the first snap against the Deacs has not yet been made.
The Demons (2-4) are coming off of a bye week after having lost to FSU themselves, 43-3. Wake started the season tough with a loss to Louisiana-Monroe and, like the Orange, are still searching for their first ACC victory of the season.
The Orange shutout the Demons last season in the Dome, 13-0. Incidentally, that came a week after SU's huge loss to Georgia Tech. Hopefully Wake keeps up this role as Syracuse's slump-buster.
