If you were hoping to enjoy Syracuse football's first victory of the season Saturday in the comfort of your own home, well, you might want to invest in those cheap nose-bleed seats in the Carrier Dome because the game will not be on your local TV.
According to Syracuse.com's Brent Axe, ESPN failed to sell the rights to the home opener to Time Warner Cable and will only show the game via Internet on ESPN3. To access ESPN3 one must have internet access and be a subscriber to one of ESPN3's providers -- cable folks should be OK, while satellite folks will be S.O.L.
So, unless you're going to the game or watching it via some space-age thing that all the kids are on, you'll need to LISTEN to the game on the radio -- hey, at least Matt Park's voice is pretty dreamy.
For those Orange fans that have no idea where to find a Syracuse game on the radio, here's a list of radio affiliates.
As for the game time, it is at 12:30 p.m. 4:00 p.m. and the Orange are current a 27-point favorite according to Bovada.
