The Last Mention Of Andrew Wiggins

We know you're a Syracuse basketball recruiting junkie and think, nowadays, every recruit is considering coming to play for James Arthur Boeheim. But, this year's top recruit, Andrew Wiggins, is not. So, this will be the last mention of him and his announcement decision on Tuesday.

USA TODAY Sports

When you get into the "profession" of college sports blogging it does not take long before you realize fans really, really, really care about the life decisions of 17- or 18-year-old kids.

On Tuesday, at little after noon ET, one of the most anticipated college basketball commitments will be announced, as the nation's No. 1 recruit, Andrew Wiggins, will sign his national letter of intent at his prep school in Huntington, WV, his high school coach, Rob Fulford, announced Sunday via Twitter.

Now, you maybe wondering why this is news for TNIAAM considering the Syracuse Orange seem to be completely out of the running for the 6-foot-7 forward that is deciding between Florida St. Seminoles, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels.

It is newsworthy for TNIAAM because we're announcing this will be the last time you see anything on Wiggins on this blog.

I know there's some diehard recruiting folks out there, who wear Orange, and want to follow the ins-and-outs of Wiggins' decisions because there's A CHANCE -- like a Dumb and Dumber one and a million chance -- the Canadian native picks SU and YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT WE THINK?!?!?!

What do we think? We think you should get ready to dislike Wiggins for a season because there's more than a 50/50 chance he's going to end up being a part of an ACC opponent's roster.

Look, I am not trying to be mean here but there's still some 'Cuse fans asking what the chances are of Wiggins choosing Syracuse. The chances are so slim, I decided to write a blog post addressing this issue and come tomorrow afternoon you should be excited to cheer against Wiggins this upcoming season.

We thank you all for your passion, but this one has been a lost cause for awhile and it is time you move on; like on to our awesome incoming recruiting class and the return of C.J. Fair.
