The Syracuse Orange move up in each poll after putting up huge numbers against the Binghamton Bearcats last week. With the Virginia Cavaliers beating Loyola in a thriller, every ACC team is now in each poll. It wasn’t all good news this week, however, as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish took a hit for its poor defensive showing in a 10-7 win over Detroit.
It’s still early in the season and not every team has played a game yet, so take these rankings with a grain of salt.
If you are looking for some good games this week, Friday features a top five matchup between the Duke Blue Devils and Denver Pioneers. We get a few good tilts on Saturday with Johns Hopkins-Loyola, Villanova-Yale, Rutgers-Army, and of course Syracuse-Albany.
