With the departure of Eamon McAnaney, ESPN announced that Anish Shroff will be the lead play-by-play commentator. As most of you know, Shroff graduated from Syracuse and was a finalist on ESPN’s Dream Job. By all accounts he is one of the best broadcasters in the game, and I for one am very excited to hear more of him.
ESPN also announced its 2017 broadcast schedule. The only game that is currently not set for broadcast is the May 6 game at Colgate. As of right now, the ACC Network Extra will be airing six Syracuse Orange matchups while the ESPN family will take on five SU games but the Hopkins game will be tape delayed.
