Welcome back kids!

Today we have the season opener for the second century of Syracuse Orange lacrosse. The Orange come into the game ranked #7 in the Maverik Media Poll and #5 in the Nike/USILA Poll. The Saints have come to the Carrier Dome for early season matchups with the ‘Cuse each of the last three years and in those contests Siena never scored more than seven while the Orange never scored less than 18. Check out the full game preview and the season preview. Also take a listen to this week’s Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Podcast to hear John Cassillo, Dan Lyons and I (James Simmons) talk a little bit of lax!

Syracuse will be trying to get back to the NCAA Tournament after falling to Maryland in the quarterfinals last year while the Siena Saints are trying to improve on a 3-10 2016 season.

The game can be seen on the ACC Network Extra (ESPN3) and heard on TK99/105.
