Do you like lacrosse? Do you like cocktails, dinner, and dancing? Do you live in the greater Syracuse, NY area? Well if so, I have some news for you! Syracuse University will be putting on a Centennial Celebration for its men's lacrosse program on April 1. The event will kick off at 6:30 pm at the OnCenter and will feature drinks, dinner, and guest speakers. For $75 for adults and $25 for kids, fans can meet and interact with former players and help memorialize the history of this program.

Syracuse began supporting a varsity program way back in 1916. The first game came on April 29, 1916 in a loss against Hobart, but the Orange certainly improved from that 1-5-2 inaugural season. While this will only be the 96th season of lacrosse at the school, it is the 100th anniversary since the first team was fielded. Throughout the years, the Syracuse Orange have featured some of the best players to ever play the game, and reaching this milestone speaks to the tremendous tradition of the sport at SU. This event will attempt to encapsulate and celebrate the incredible games, players, and teams, which make up the unprecedented history of this legendary program.
