If you are in need of a lacrosse fix, I have some good news for you. On Sunday at 11 am the US Men's National Team will faceoff against the Denver Pioneers in Bradenton, FL. The inaugural Team USA Spring Premiere will be live streamed on USLacrosse.org from IMG Academy. While this will be a great chance to check out the 2015 National Champion Pios, a team that is more than likely to make it back to Championship Weekend in 2016, there will also be two former Orange players on the field.

On Monday, US Lacrosse announced its 24-player roster for the game. Syracuse alumni Casey Powell and John Galloway both made the cut.

Galloway is currently an assistant coach with the Providence College Friars and has played for the Rochester Rattlers since 2011 when he was drafted into the MLL. The former two-time NCAA Champion has accumulated numerous accolades over his career including being a Tewaaraton Trophy Finalist, two-time Big East Goalie of the Year, two-time All-American, and the 2014 Goaltender of the Year in the MLL.

Casey Powell's collegiate career has been well documented. He sits tied with brother Ryan Powell for second all-time in career points at Syracuse, just 20 points behind youngest brother Mikey Powell. If the Tewaaraton Trophy had been in existence when Casey played at ‘Cuse, he would have undoubtedly taken home at least one. Since leaving Syracuse, NY, the eldest Powell has become the MLL's all-time leading scorer and had a lengthy indoor and outdoor professional lacrosse career.

In addition to the men's game, the Team USA Spring Premiere will also feature the US Women's National Team versus Florida at 3 pm and a game versus the Syracuse Orange at 5 pm on Saturday. And as if that was not enough, following the men's game on Sunday, the US men's U-19 team will take on the Canadian U-19 team at 1:30 pm.
