Syracuse Orange attackman Dylan Donahue will enter the 2016 season with the second-longest active goal-scoring streak in the nation. The last time Donahue was held without a goal was against Duke on 3/23/2014. That is 25 straight games with at least one tally and a total of 69 goals.
Donahue sits behind Ryan Brown of Johns Hopkins who has 34 straight games with a goal, putting up 104 goals during that time. The longest such streak in Syracuse history is held by Tom Marechek with 56 straight games from 3/18/1989 to 5/25/1992.
The Syracuse senior was rewarded for his consistent play last week when he was selected second overall in the MLL Draft. Donahue is one of the top attackman in division I lacrosse, and is on the short list for the Tewaaraton Trophy. Syracuse fans should expect big things from Camillus, NY native this year.
