The final media poll was released earlier this week, and obviously the National Champion Denver Pioneers took the first place position. After that, the voters seemed to have ignored a lot of the results. Ohio State beat Duke in the first round and fell to Denver by two goals, yet the media has OSU at #9, one behind Duke. I'm also a little surprised that Towson was placed so low. The Tigers gave Notre Dame all they could handle and that game really wasn't over until about two minutes left in the game. The Syracuse Orange fell into the fourth slot, one above Hopkins, the team which ended SU's season. The voters also felt that Notre Dame, after an OT loss to DU in the semifinals, was more worthy of second place than Maryland.
Check out the full poll below and let me know what you all think.
