Junior attack Alyssa Murray continued her hot play Sunday tallying a collegiate best 10 points in a Syracuse Orange women's lacrosse victory, 21-8, over Dartmouth in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Murray netted five goals and dished out a career-high five assists en route to maybe her best performance as an Orange. The performance marked just the sixth time that a player tallied 10 or more points in a game, which ended up being the Orange's 12 straight win.
Freshman middie Kayala Treanor also scored five goals en route to a seven-point performance. Sophomore attack Devon Collins netted a hat trick, while Kailah Kempney, Erica Bodt and Brenna Rainone each scored a pair of goals.
Saturday's showdown with Florida will be the second time in as many years two programs will be in the NCAA tournament. Last year, Syracuse defeated Florida, 14-13, in the national semifinals.
