Syracuse Football Schedule 2015: Orange Open Soft, Close With Tough Slate

The ACC released its 2015 football schedule on Thursday.

The Atlantic Coast Conference release its 2015 football schedule Thursday, and with that the complete Syracuse Orange schedule available for viewing.

A quick look at the schedule reveals the Orange hosting their first three games against very beatable opponents. The season/home opener comes against the Rhode Island Rams (Sept. 5). The next two weeks feature the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (Sept. 12) and the Central Michigan Chippewas (Sept. 19) visiting the Carrier Dome.

A Week 4 match up, Sept. 26, against the visiting LSU Tigers will be highly anticipated. That showdown will be followed be a BYE WEEK in Week 5.

From there, Syracuse will play a non-conference showdown at the South Florida Bulls (Oct. 10) in Week 6. The Orange return to ACC play with a Week 6 contest at the Virginia Cavaliers (Oct. 17) and a home game against the visiting Pittsburg Panthers (Oct. 24).

SU's toughest stretch of games will came from Week 9-13, when it will play at the Florida State Seminoles (Oct. 31), at the Louisville Cardinals (Nov. 7), against the visiting Clemson Tigers (Nov. 14), at the North Carolina State Wolfpack (Nov. 21) and versus the visiting Boston College Eagles (Nov. 26) in consecutive weeks.
