Syracuse Athletics' big announcement at DestinyUSA was actually a three-part announcement. The first was the news that LSU would be visiting the Dome in 2015. The second was the reveal of the new uniforms. And the third was news that if you buy a ticket to the season-opener between the Syracuse Orange and Villanova Wildcats, Scott Shafer will buy you a second ticket.
Syracuse opens the 2014 season against Villanova on Friday, August 29. To celebrate the excitement in the program, Shafer announced today the 'Coach Shafer Buyout' for the opener. For every ticket purchased for the Villanova game, Shafer will buy an additional ticket for that fan. The offer includes season tickets already purchased.
Shafer said the deal is good through May 30th. And if you want to purchase tickets for that or any other Syracuse game, you can do so at the brand-new kiosk in DestinyUSA, which is covered in artwork by Mike Borkowski.
