Money Quote: Moskal made his verbal commitment to Syracuse early last summer becoming the fourth recruit to verbal in the Class of 2014. In Oct., Syracuse.com's Nate Mink traveled to Moskal's hometown and found out his father had died of a heart attack seven years ago, so nothing has been easy for him. Oh, and his high school coach created a daily mental toughness drill called W.A.R. ( "We Are Relentless"), which has become a sort of life motto.
"We Are Relentless means what you have inside you," Colton said. "What's your heart? What are you going to do when things get tough and your back is against the wall and you're facing adversity? Are you going to fight through it? Are you gonna step up and come to the challenge?"
Sounds pretty #hardnosed to us.
Which SU Coach Gets a Bonus?: Syracuse's quarterback, Tim Lester, and linebackers, Clark Lea, coaches get a star for this one.
Fun Fact: An assist can be given to recruit Zaire Franklin, who was key to getting Moskal to commit. Moskal has admitted College GameDay is his favorite show, while he likes to listen to rap and country music.
