The Syracuse Orange and Penn St. Nittany Lions will each kick-off their 2013-14 seasons on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 3:30 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium. The game will be telecast regionally on ABC and can be seen nationally on ESPN2, a press release from Syracuse University athletics reported on Friday.

The match-up between the two long-time foes had been set for awhile now, but the kick-off time and television information were the final details we were all waiting for.

This will be the 71st meeting between Syracuse and Penn State, the first since 2009 when the Nittany Lions downed the Orange at Beaver Stadium.
