Syracuse Football Schedule: Northwestern To Host Orange In Primetime

The second leg of the Syracuse vs. Northwestern home-and-home series will conclude in primetime on Saturday, Sept. 7th, at Ryan Field.

The Big Ten Network released its 2013 primetime college football slate Monday, and included in the announcement was the Syracuse Orange's road contest with the Northwestern Wildcats, which will be played Saturday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. ET.

The showdown will be the conclusion to the pair's home-and-home series, which last season featured the Wildcats edging the Orange, 42-41, in a thriller at the Carrier Dome.

Of course, with the news that Syracuse will play in primetime on the BTN, means Gus Johnson Watch 2013 is in full effect. There's a chance Mr. Johnson does not call the Battle of the Journalism Schools because the BTN is also broadcasting Southern Mississippi at Nebraska on the same night and time.

When BTN airs more than one game at a time, fans can go to BTN.com/GameFinder to determine the channel number for the game they want to see.

Anyway, lets hope Gus is on the call and Syracuse can avenge last year's loss. Is that too much to ask?
