The Syracuse Orange's Nov. 2nd showdown with ACC foe the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will kickoff at 12:30 p.m., the league announced Monday.
The showdown will be broadcasted on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks and will mark the return of former Syracuse quarterback Donovan McNabb, who will be honored at the game with the retirement of his jersey.
The Orange (3-4, 1-2 ACC) will be coming off a bye week that, hopefully, will have helped to get the bad taste out of the mouth after last Saturday's 56-0 loss to Georgia Tech. Wake Forest, currently 4-4 overall and 2-2 in the ACC, is playing at No. 10-ranked Miami Hurricanes this Saturday.
SU vs. Wake Forest will be a part of three early games for the ACC, which lead off with Virginia Tech at Boston College at noon (ABC, ESPN or ESPN2) and also have North Carolina at NC State (ACC Network) starting at 12:30 p.m.
At 3:30, Clemson will visit Virginia. Pittsburgh will be at Georgia Tech at 7 p.m., while the nightcap features a much anticipated showdown between Miami at Florida State (8 p.m. on ABC).
