Syracuse Orange target Omer Yurtseven is a man among boys overseas.

The highly regarded center in the class of 2016 scored 91 points while snagging 28 rebounds in a Turkish U-18 game Sunday. Yurtseven is the league leader in points, rebounds, and blocks while currently sitting eleventh in the league for assists.

Yurtseven was on the Syracuse campus in early May, an indication that the Orange are on his radar for next season. Syracuse has been looking to land a big man  The big man currently has offers from Syracuse, Utah, and NC State, with interest from North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio State, and Kentucky.

And that is just for college offers.

Yurtseven passed on a lucrative professional contract to play overseas, so it appears that he is poised to prove himself here in the United States. DraftExpress.com has Yurtseven as the 14th pick in their mock draft for 2017. If he is a player the Orange can land, it will be a huge boost for Jim Boeheim and company, as they are in search of another big man.
