Syracuse Beats Duke: The Tweets, Videos And Audio Highlights

Reliving the Syracuse victory through all aspects of social media. We can all be thankful we live in 2014!!

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The best thing about living in the year 2014 is that when something amazing happens -- like No. 2 (soon to be No. 1!!) Syracuse beating No. 17 Duke, 91-89, in an epic battle at the Carrier Dome -- there are so many ways to relive the event.

So, lets take a moment and look through all the pictures, YouTube and Vines videos of what went down on Jim Boeheim Court just over 12 hours ago.

First, let take a look at all the beautiful 35,446 fans at the Carrier Dome. CNYCentralNews.com has some pretty cool raw video of ESPN GameDay's pre-game show, while the ACC Network put together a nice piece on everyone filling into the building.

How about a Go-Pro look of the game's first few baskets thanks to Karen Lang. You can feel the electricity through the computer screen.

One of the biggest keys to the game, I thought, was to keep the Carrier Dome crowd into the game. Syracuse, led by C.J. Fair, did just that. This transition, and-1 bucket five-and-a-half minutes into the game set the tone, which was LOUD!

(From what I am hearing, when Trevor Cooney nailed a 3-pointer to help SU take a 54-50 lead with 12:12 remaining in the game it was ear shattering. If anyone can find video to that let me know.)

With 10 minutes remaining, Fair made this dunk that sparked a one-man run in which the senior netted the Orange's next eight points and 13 of their last 17.

And then, things just got, well, intense. We should all be used to this by now, however, this was Syracuse vs. Duke and the Blue Devils just wouldn't go away.

Here's some reactions in the final moments. I'd make fun of this kid, but I can't because we all looked like this (we weren't as fashionable though).

See, we all looked like this!!! (Even at my house.)

All was good until it wasn't. Thanks a lot Rasheed Sulaimon.

And then we're off to overtime, where Duke continued to make all of its 3-point attempts. (Looking it up, in the final six minutes of regulation and the first few seconds of OT, Duke made five of its six 3-point attempts. So, if it felt like the Blue Devils were making every 3-pointer they attempted, it wasn't exactly that but it was close.)

Anyway, here it is. The play of the night (if you ask me) and the more I look at it the more it is hard to claim that Rakeem Christmas fouled Rodney Hood before getting all ball on the block. What a fantastic play.

Before we get to the inevitable conclusion, stop for a second to watch and listen to Cuse.com's highlight reel of the game with audio from Mark Park's play-by-play. I do not know how many fans were listening on the radio Saturday, but, OH MY. What energy Park had on the call Saturday night. The man was fired up! So many great calls. So many highlights!

GAME OVER! EVERY ONE IS OLEING!!!!!!!

And finally, SportCenter's ReMix of the showdown. Wow. What a game.
