Tyler Ennis, the projected starting point guard for the Syracuse Orange basketball team this upcoming season, netted a team-high 20 points on 8-of-17 shooting in Canada's preliminary-round loss to Spain, 81-70, of the U19 World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.

In nearly 30 minutes of playing time, Ennis dished out three assists, collected four rebounds and committed four turnovers. Team Canada, which entered the tournament ranked sixth in the FIBA standings, while Spain was ranked seventh, took an early 8-7 lead in the first quarter, but never took an advantage after that.

On Friday, Canada will take on Croatia. Meanwhile, a Jerami Grant-less Team USA plays the Ivory Coast later Thursday and China on Friday.
