Michael Carter-Williams Invited To NBA Draft Green Room

Former Syracuse point guard invited to take part in Thursday's NBA Draft Green Room.

USA TODAY Sports

Former Syracuse Orange point guard Michael Carter-Williams has been invited to be in the NBA Draft Green Room for Thursday night's festivities, ESPN's Chad Ford is reporting.

MCW joins the likes of former Orange players Dion Waiters (last year), Wesley Johnson (2010) and Jonny Flynn (2009) to earn the honor of shaking NBA commissioner David Stern's hand after being selected by a franchise that, in most cases, was terrible the year before.

Anyway, the buzz around MCDubz has been positive and it is expected he will be picked in the top 10.

(Queue the "he's not ready for the NBA" comments.)

(Queue the "he's about to be a millionaire" replies.)

Either way, the real discussion isn't about MCW the future pro basketball player. It is whether he can top these suits and podium walk-ups by Waiters (my favorite), Johnson or Flynn.

Your thoughts?
