Syracuse Basketball In Canada Tickets On Sale Soon

Tickets for SU basketball's Canadian showdown with Carleton University will go on sale Friday.

Are you ready to plan your dream vacation trip to Canada to watch the Syracuse basketball team play exhibition games against "foreign" university and club teams? Well, Friday next Wednesday will be your favorite day of the year because tickets for the Aug. 23 showdown between the Orange and Carleton University in Ottawa go on sale then, according to

What's even better, the tickets are cheap and could be cheaper if you get a group together.

The game between Syracuse and Carleton, which is being billed as the CAN-AM Shootout, will be played at Scotiabank Place, the home of the NHL's Ottawa Senators.

Tickets for the CAN-AM Shootout start at $10 and go on sale Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d'Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, Ottawa Festivals and at the Scotiabank Place box office.

The showdown with Carleton will be sandwiched between a contest with Bishop's University in Montreal, Aug. 21, and the Ottawa Gee-Gees, Aug. 24.
