Get to Know Your Orange Man: TE #90 Cam MacPherson

It's time to get to know more about football players than you did previously! Today it's Macky's little brother Cam MacPherson.

Name: Cameron MacPherson

Position: Tight End

Year: Junior

Height: 6-3

Weight: 235

Hometown: Syracuse, NY

High School: Christian Brothers Academy

2014 Stats: Cam sat out last season due to NCAA transfer rules as he transferred in from Georgetown where he played QB.

2015 Projections: Listed as the backup tight end on the depth chart behind Josh Parris, he is certain to get plenty of playing time in Tim Lester's scheme that uses two tight ends very frequently.

How'd he get here?: After being captured and taken away by the demonic Hoya to Georgetown, legend has it that a heroic Andy Pregler Otto arrived in his unique Syracuse Cheverolet Sonic and defeated the Hoya in a long an drawn out battle, which resulted in Cam's freedom of his imprisonment.

What'd recruiting sites say? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. However, Scout did have him listed as a TE and not QB.

Money Quote: "I've never played tight end, but I've been told I look like one. Mackey will help me with the blocking. Hopefully someone will teach me how to catch. Mackey has great hands. I'm going to assume I just haven't had the chance to do it." Mackey MacPherson, most underutilized player at Syracuse then. Thanks Chris Carlson for that one.

Links of Wonder: Nothing too crazy here, but he was a really good high school quarterback in the Syracuse area.

Twitterfeed: He does not have one.

What does Shafer think of him: Knowing Shafer, he probably still doesn't even know that Mackey is gone, let alone that his little brother is on the team.

Interesting Nugget O' interest: Being the grandson of the legendary Dick MacPherson has inspired him to major in history (of the Orange that is).

Let's get a look atcha: Yay high school highlights!
