Get To Know Your Orange Man - #4 Brandon Reddish

Introducing one of the Orange's best athletes -- junior cornerback Brandon Reddish.

Mark Konezny-US PRESSWIRE

Name: Brandon Reddish

Position: Cornerback

Year: Junior

Height: 5'11''

Weight:186

Hometown: Brooklyn, NY

High School: Fort Hamilton

2012 Stats: Played in 12 games compiling 35 tackles, 24 solo, 1 sack and 1 interception.

2011 Stats: Played in 12 games compiling six tackles.

2013 Projections: This could be a breakout year for Reddish, who has a freshman and sophomore showed flashes of a special talent. If it wasn't for some inconsistent play in his second season, and the emergence of senior Ri'Shard Anderson, Reddish probably would be a starter. If either Anderson or Keon Lyn struggle, look for Reddish to steal a lot of playing time. Either way, Reddish will be one of four players rotating in and out of the corner back spot.

How'd He Get Here?: Reddish was a highly recruited player out of the New York City area, as he was given scholarship offers to Maryland, UConn, Penn State, Rutgers and West Virginia. In the end, it came down to Penn State and Syracuse, and we won!!

What'd Scout/Rivals Say?: Reddish was a three-star recruit, according to Scout and Rivals. Coming out of high school, Reddish was a wide out, which caught 30 passes for 763 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior and was named a Class AA First-Team as a senior.

Interesting Nugget O'Interest: In the 2012 Spring practice, I thought Reddish had the best day out of anyone. Now, I can't wait for him to turn into the player I think he can be.

Let Us Get a Good Look Atchya: Reddish is a true athletic freak... According to NCAA '13.
