Name: Joe Nassib
Position: Cornerback
Year: Senior
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 180
Hometown: Newton Square, PA
High School: The Haverford School
2012 Stats: Played in all 12 games and recorded one tackle.
2013 Projections: More of the same. Joe will probably see the field every game as a special team contributor.
How'd He Get Here?: If I was looking to walk-on at a BCS football program and there was one fairly nearby where my cousin was the starting quarterback, I'd probably take a long look at that school too.
What'd Scout/Rivals Say?: Nothin'
Money Quote: Wawa withdrawal is a real thing that inflicts millions every year. Stay strong, Joe.
Haven't even been up at 'cuse for a month and I'm already in a wawa withdrawal #HoagieFest

Links of Wonder: The Joe Nassib link of wonder is and will forever be The Nassibening.
What Does Shafer Think: Probably that he wishes that Joe's cousin had an extra year of eligibility.
Interesting Nugget O'Interest: We already talked about the Nassib v. Nassib-ness of this weekend's game, so I won't rehash that. I will note, however, that Joe Nassib can't find a jersey number he likes. He started his Syracuse career at #40, before moving to #27, and before last season changed to #19. If you see a player on the field of any number, and he doesn't look familiar, it's probably just Joe, seeing if he likes how that number feels.
Let Us Get a Good Look Atchya: Joe took part in an all-star game between the U.S. and Belgium in France back in 2010. 'Murica won 83-0. Yikes.
