When not broadcasting for the San Francisco Giants, John Miller spends his time opening holes and protecting the quarterback. What? That's not the same guy? That's...less exciting.

Stat Me: At 6'4" and 310 pounds, Miller looks the part of someone ready to make an impact on the line.

Seein' Stars: Scout - 2*, Rivals - 3*, 247 - N/A, ESPN - 3*

Who's Crying?: It looks like Syracuse was Miller's only offer. He drew interest from Oregon, Wazzu, Memphis, and others.

Money Quote:

I think I am athletic enough to pull outside. Get out on screens and get to the second level, and they don’t expect that with my size. I pride myself for this off-season on working hard and making sure I am in great shape to do those types of things. I had an exceptional season because linebackers weren’t expecting me to be able to get them because they thought I was too big.

Which SU Coach Gets a Bonus?: It was Greg Atkins. We should probably send it over to the fine folks at Dinosaur BBQ.

Fun Fact: Miller was on campus when SU received the news that they won a share of the Big East crown and would be heading to the Pinstripe Bowl. Exciting times.
