The Syracuse men's cross country and track and field program finished the 2014-15 year ranked No. 15 in the USTFCCCA Program of the Year standings. In order to be considered for the rankings, schools must score points at the NCAA meets for cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field. This is the 2nd time SU has finished in these rankings. The program previously had a 12th place finish in 2011-12.
LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings is one of three LSU players that was arrested and booked on Thursday evening, according to The Baton Rouge Advocate. Jennings, defensive lineman Maquedius Bain, and defensive back Dwayne Thomas were all booked at a Baton Rouge jail together. Thomas has been charged with unauthorized entry of a dwelling and simple burglary, and Jennings and Bain were charged with unauthorized entry of a dwelling.
