266 Syracuse Orange student-athletes were named to the 2014-15 ACC Honor Roll. The Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
The 2015 Syracuse Orange Cross Country schedule was released today. Syracuse will open the season on September 5th and will look to conclude their campaign at the NCAA Championship on November 22nd at Louisville
"While the bulk of the offseason buzz (or worry, as the case may be) has surrounded an offense that was downright dismal last season, the bigger question for the Orange may be whether coordinator Chuck Bullough can rebuild the defense after losing a ton of talent."
Alex Halis, former starting number ten for Syracuse Men's Soccer, who was thought to be leaving early in order to pursue a professional career, is instead transferring to Grand Canyon University. Halis will be transferring to play under Schellas Hyndman, former MLS coach and father of US U-20 captain and Fulham midfielder, Emerson Hyndman. He's a coach with a pedigree, who is trying to start up this third year program. All the best to Alex in the new endeavor and good luck in building a new program.
