For those who watch ESPN's Pardon the Interruption, frequent guest and Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim will be on the program this evening.
And now Rob Moore's gone... thanks, Doug (/sarcasm font).
Quick write-up from ESPN on the ACC's vote today to send the NCAA legislation regarding conference title games. The move would allow leagues to determine champs however they want (meaning no divisions if they chose), though it wouldn't go into effect immediately.
Looks like McDonald wants to get full use out of all his shiny new WR recruits. Quote from the SI article: Syracuse has lacked a definitive offensive identity since Donovan McNabb left in 1998. Greg Robinson failed miserably at installing a pro-style offense, and Doug Marrone tinkered with a bit of everything to varying degrees of success. In Scott Shafer's second season as head coach, offensive coordinator George McDonald plans to solve the identity crisis. "We're going to open it up on offense and go full-bore fast," McDonald said. "Like an Oregon, Texas A&M style of offense."
"If you were to ask me right now whether I'd take Ennis over Kyrie Irving, I think it's Ennis," one GM said. "He does all the things that help a basketball team win basketball games. You can pick him apart on individual flaws, but I would take this kid right now and trust him to run my team. I think there's very few freshmen you could ever say that about."
RealGM Wiretap via Chad Ford and ESPN InsiderTrevor Cooney beat ND pretty much by himself. That makes him your homeboy.
Find yourself, and tag yourself. This is really cool. And if you weren't there, just zoom in on Dance Team!
The clothing company, Homage, has announced their 'Cuse Collection (which is pretty sweet). Along with the announcement, they created this video honoring the Carrier Dome. It opens with Gerry McNamara and closes with me crying just a bit. Awesome.
There's really only one thing that matters. Syracuse #BeatDuke.
See second and third letters. I'm surprised only that Pettine wasn't called a disloyal idiot.
