Syracuse Orange ACC Network Takeover Day is tomorrow

Tomorrow is the Syracuse Orange ACC Network Takeover day and this is what the schedule will give us:

12:00 AM: Syracuse Softball

This should be highlights from the Orange series wins over top-15 opponents Virginia Tech and Florida State. It was the first time in program history that Syracuse won a series over top-15 programs and the team did it on back-to-back weekends.

2:00 AM: Syracuse Football vs Army

This is a good game for anyone struggling to fall asleep. The Orange did move to 4-0 with the victory but this game really isn’t worthy of a replay.

5:00 AM: Women’s Lacrosse vs ??

This is the first of two women’s lacrosse games on the day and if we had to guess the ones being shown would be the 20-5 trouncing of UNC and the 16-13 win over #7 Loyola.

7:00 AM: Syracuse Men’s Soccer at North Carolina

Mac’s lads went down to Chapel Hill and pitched a clean sheet in this 1-0 win over the Tar Heels.

9:00 AM: Syracuse Men’s Lacrosse vs ??

This one should be the thrilling 18-17 win over Virginia in the Dome. There really is no better option from Gary Gait’s squad.

11:00 AM: Syracuse Women’s Basketball at Notre Dame

The Orange go on the road and knock off the Irish completing a season sweep.

1:00 PM: Syracuse Women’s Lacrosse vs ??

This is the second of two women’s lacrosse games on the day and if we had to guess the ones being shown would be the 20-5 trouncing of UNC and the 16-13 win over #7 Loyola.

3:00 PM: Syracuse Men’s Basketball vs Miami

Sorry Dom, but this one deserves a rewatch.

5:00 PM: Syracuse Women’s Basketball vs Arizona in the NCAA Tournament

Yes, we certainly want to watch Syracuse win their opening round game in the NCAA Tournament thanks to a 32-point effort from Dyaisha Fair.

7:00 PM: Syracuse Men’s Basketball vs North Carolina

The Orange knock off the No. 7 Tar Heels in the best performance of the season. This one is probably worthy of the primetime slot.

9:00 PM: Syracuse football vs Pittsburgh

This one’s for the Sickos. Garrett Shrader completes as many back flips as passes. We #SendVillari and get a Max Mang touchdown!!

So what’s missing from the day. Well how about Syracuse women’s rowing winning the ACC Title for starters. We also don’t get tennis knocking off Georgia Tech or anything from the Elite 8 Orange field hockey squad.

Instead of showing Syracuse-Army we could have gotten these events and the 44 Films from the past year. It makes zero sense that the ACC is not highlighting the documentary work being down on campus.
