Consider these hater resolutions

NCAA Basketball: Charleston Classic-Utah at Wake Forest David Yeazell-USA TODAY Sports

We’re getting back into the normal swing of things Syracuse Orange fans. Let’s get right to this week’s ACC MBB Power Rankings as we head into 2024 and fully into ACC play

1. Clemson Tigers (11-1, 1-0)

Resolution: Clemson makes the NCAA Tournament as a 4 seed and promptly gets knocked out by 13th seeded Cornell.

2. North Carolina Tar Heels (9-3, 1-0)

Resolution: Armando Bacot finishes his 10-year career with a 15 pt, 18 rebound performance as UNC gets bounced in the NCAA 2nd round.

3. Duke Blue Devils (9-3, 0-1)

Resolution: Duke gets back to doing Duke things....losing in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament to a 7 seed.

4. Miami Hurricanes (10-2, 1-0)

Resolution: Jim Larrañaga continues to make Mario Cristobal look bad by taking his team to an Elite Eight appearance.

5. NC State Wolfpack (9-3, 1-0)

Resolution: Kevin Keatts spends less time on his shoes and more time getting his team ready for a deep NIT run

NCAA Basketball: Maryland - E. Shore at N.C. State Jaylynn Nash-USA TODAY Sports

6. Virginia Cavaliers (10-3, 1-1)

Resolution: Tony Bennett doesn’t have to worry about an embarrassing NCAA upset when his team goes to the NIT.

7. Syracuse Orange (10-3, 1-1)

Resolution: Orange sneak into the Play-In round then we get to enjoy another Apology Tour.

8. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (9-3, 1-0)

Resolution: Steve Forbes just says screw it and starts coaching in a t-shirt and shorts.

9. Pitt Panthers (9-4, 0-2)

Resolution: A lottery selection for Carlton Carrington because we really don’t want to see him again next season.

10. Virginia Tech Hokies (9-4, 1-1)

Resolution: A basketball arena that wasn’t below average in 1960.

11. Boston College Eagles (9-3, 0-1)

Resolution: To finally get a .500 season so people who hate hockey can enjoy the New England winter.

12. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-4, 1-0)

Resolution: A rematch against Georgia in the NIT because at some point you need to make up for the football beat-downs on the hardwood.

13 . Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6-7, 1-1)

Resolution: Notre Dame repeats their shooting performance against Virginia....when they play Clemson.

14. Florida State Seminoles (6-6, 0-1)

Resolution: Florida State loses their lawsuit against the ACC but refuses to play in the ACC Tournament which means we don’t have to watch this team on a Tuesday afternoon.

15. Louisville Cardinals (5-7, 0-1)

Resolution: The Cardinals end the Kenny Payne experiment early enough to hire Mick Cronin

Ok, that’s our list. What did we get wrong this week?
