Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Ta’Ron Haile

Hometown: Millville, New Jersey

High School: Millville

Stats: 6-foot-1, 180 pounds

Position: Wide receiver

Ratings: Three stars across the board

Other Offers: Penn State, Boston College, James Madison, Maryland, Nebraska and Rutgers. Syracuse was the only school he took an official visit to, where he committed in June.

Player Breakdown: Haile was a track star at Millville and brings elite speed, just like his former Millville teammate LeQuint Allen. He’s listed as a receiver, but Fran Brown will also get looks at Haile in the safety position. He’ll need time to adjust wherever he ends up, but he could mentor under one of the ACC’s best safeties, Justin Barron, if the junior sticks around at SU for another year.

Highlights: Here’s him hauling in two catches on the run a month back
