Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Fatim Diggs

Hometown: Camden, New Jersey... because.

Previous School: Eastside

Stats: 6-foot-3, 220 pounds

Position: Linebacker

Ratings: Diggs was a 0.8100 via the Composite Rankings. Per he was a 82 overall. He is a consensus 3-star prospect.

Other Offers: Penn State, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Ole Miss and BC all had offers out to Fatim. The Orange were just able to land him earlier this week after an official visit the weekend of 12/15.

Player Breakdown: With some movement in the player pool this season at the linebacker spot, Diggs joins a group that just lost a starter in Leon Lowery, and has a second who may be moving on to the pros in Marlowe Wax. He’ll add some much needed depth on a big body that moves well to the position group.

It should also be noted that Fatim’s older brother Fadil, a standout transfer defensive lineman from Texas A&M has also committed to the Orange, making this a full blown family affair on the defensive side of the house. Can we get Diggs lining up behind Diggs at some point this season?
