Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Jackson Meeks

Hometown: Phenix City, Alabama

Previous College: University of Georgia

Build: 6’2”, 205 lbs.

Position: Wide Receiver

Ratings: Three-stars

Other Offers: In high school, Meeks drew interest from Ole Miss, App State, Liberty, and West Virginia, but went for the most prestigious offer from Georgia. He was barely in the portal for a week this year before committing to Syracuse.

Player Breakdown: Meeks was a Top-30 prospect out of Alabama and took his talent to the Georgia special teams unit, where he saw the bulk of his time. Kirby Smart gave him individual praise for his performance in that area - and with SU's past focus on the third aspect of play, he should continue to play a big role there. Meeks only had a handful of catches in his three years down south but is now poised to emerge as an instant threat in a revamped Orange air attack.

Highlights: Jackson’s best year with the Dawgs was 2022 - take a look at his sophomore season.
