Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Yazeed Haynes

Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

Previous College: University of Georgia

Build: 6'1", 170 lbs.

Position: Wide Receiver

Ratings: Consensus four-star prospect

Other Offers: Penn State, Rutgers, Boston College, Maryland, Minnesota, and West Virginia were other big players, but Georgia won in the end - thanks to primary recruiter Fran Brown. The new Orange head coach successfully recruited Haynes a second time... are we surprised?

Player Breakdown: Zeed redshirted in his lone year with UGA, grabbing one pass in the season opener. In high school, he was rated as 247 Sports' No. 5 Class of 2022 recruit in Pennsylvania and a Top-50 receiver in the country - so there's still plenty of potential for him to unlock in Orange. He also carries the third-best composite score among SU additions, only behind QB Kyle McCord and DE Fadil Diggs, both senior transfers. Expect to see him on the outside where he can fly right past corners in man coverage.

Highlights: Flashback to his senior season with North Penn.
