Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Jamie Tremble

Hometown: Norcross, GA

High School: Wesleyan School

Build: 6’4”, 210 lbs.

Position: Tight End / Wide Receiver

Ratings: Four stars from On3, 247 Sports, and ESPN

Other Offers: Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, James Madison, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest all extended scholarships but Tremble chose the Orange in June and stuck with them through the turmoil of this fall.

Player Breakdown: Tremble is seen as the long-term replacement for Oronde Gadsden - the kind of TE/WR hybrid that has worked so well in SU’s offense - but regardless of O.G.’s decision, the newcomer can make plenty of noise as a true freshman. The Gwinnett County player of the year amassed 1,178 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns as a high school senior, boasting explosive speed and separation. He’s also extremely efficient in picking up chunks of yards after the catch.
