Welcome to National Early Signing Day(s) for the Class of 2024! Can the Syracuse Orange close the deal with their committed players? Do we get any early Christmas presents that we didn’t know about?

We’re going to be updating those signing with the Orange. Next one up is:

Name: Emanuel Ross

Hometown: Red Bank, New Jersey

Previous School: Red Bank Catholic

Stats: 6-foot-2, 190 pounds

Position: Wide receiver

Ratings: Ross was a 0.9038 via the 247sports.com Composite Rankings. Per On3.com he was a 92 overall and the second best player out of New Jersey this year. Both had him as a 4-star prospect.

Other Offers: Ross was a flip from the Stanford Cardinal, new ACC conference mates. He also had offers from Penn State, Florida State, Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, and Michigan State among a number of others.

Player Breakdown: Wideouts come in handy when you have a shiny new quarterback to throw to them. Ross was a target of Coach Fran when he was at Georgia and snagged the commit from Ross after an official visit to Syracuse. Ross will be a big quick target that looks like he can read a gap and cut well. The combination of size and speed should help the transition to Division I.
