The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team wrapped up the Maui Invitational by going 1-2 in the event. The Orange suffered defeats to nationally ranked teams Tennessee and Gonzaga before defeating host-team Chaminade in the seventh place game.

We recapped Syracuse’s play in the event with Christian and Dom and discussed topical points surrounding the team.

Topics include:

  • Expectations are more or less the same for Syracuse after Maui
  • What’s going with Benny Williams?
  • The Orange hang with Tennessee, don’t hang with Gonzaga and blow the doors off of Chaminade
  • Rebounding remains a concern for this team. What’s the solution?
  • Getting Justin Taylor more involved offensively
  • Syracuse’s depth and bench play
  • Bill Walton is a national treasure
  • LSU in the ACC/SEC Challenge
  • What to expect from the rest of the non-conference
  • The Orange might’ve faced its two toughest opponents of the season already
