The Syracuse Orange (3-1) men’s basketball team looks to bounce back when they face the #11 Gonzaga Bulldogs (3-1) this afternoon in Hawaii. Tip-off is at 2:30 on ESPN2 with Dan Shulman and Jay Bilas on the call.
Mark Few’s squad fell to Purdue by a 73-63 score yesterday and they’ll be back on the court with a little less rest than the Orange. Few will avoid facing his friend Jim Boeheim and he sounds excited about that. Gonzaga is 0-2 all-time against Syracuse.
Mark Few couldn’t get through the presser without a little jab at friend/former #Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim: “I’m excited to watch Adrian (Autry) be able to take over for my crotchety old buddy. I’m surprised he’s not here getting some free cookies in the back or something.” pic.twitter.com/EvAey8YyfP

The Orange offense will be looking to bounce back from yesterday’s dismal shooting performance. Can they find ways to make shots in another early morning game? Will Adrian Autry break down and wear a Hawaiian shirt?
Here’s what we’re watching for in today’s game and take a look at the TNIAAM staff predictions.
