The local writers drop Syracuse one spot to 12th in their ACC Power Rankings. Syracuse slides in between Virginia and Wake Forest.

ESPN

In this week’s SP+ rankings Syracuse drops five spots to 70th with the offense 85th while the defense ranks 51st. The Orange are ranked between Louisiana and California. SP+ has Wake Forest ranked 92nd with their offense 108th and defense 61st.

Syracuse drops three spots in the Football Power Index to 52nd between Georgia Tech and California. FPI predicts the Orange for 5.7 wins now and gives them a nice 69% chance to win and make a bowl game. Wake Forest ranks 75th in this week’s FPI.

CBS Sports

In the CBS Sports power rankings Syracuse is down ten spots to 76th this week between Arkansas and Houston. Wake Forest is 84th this week.

The Athletic

The Orange are down two spots to 71st in The Athletic’s Top 133 Power Rankings placing them in between Boise State and Minnesota. Wake Forest is 91st this week.

USA Today

This week Syracuse is down three spots to 91st in the Re-Rank which puts them between Central Michigan and Utah State. Wake Forest is 96th this week.
