It’s been... an offseason for the Syracuse Orange women’s basketball program. And despite all that’s transpired for both new and returning (the few there are) players, there’s still a season ahead. And now we know what that schedule looks like.
On Wednesday, the ACC announced 2021-22 regular season schedules for all 15 teams. We knew the conference foes already, obviously, but now we have dates. Plus this fills in the rest of the gaps in the non-conference slate.

Some notes:
- Notre Dame will provide a tough early test for the reconstructed Syracuse roster. Vonn Read will have to get his group ready to go quickly this season. Notre Dame is one of the three ACC schools that Syracuse will face twice.
- The Louisville Cardinals are another team the Orange will have to face twice this season. That means two games against former teammate Emily Engstler who left Syracuse to chase a National Championship
- Boston College will be the third team that Syracuse will play home and away in the ACC
- The Orange will play four of their last six conference games in the Dome so if the team is able to surpass expectations that stretch could help them land a post-season berth.
Update:
We have a date for the retirement of Felisha Legette-Jack’s jersey, the first women’s athlete to be honored in the Dome
