Name: Joe Pinjuh
Position: Running back
Year: Freshman
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Hometown: Independence, Ohio
High School: Padua Franciscan
2020 stats: Can’t find any.
2021 projections: As a true walk-on, he’s a likely redshirt candidate and likely won’t see the field this year.
How’d he get here?: A walk-on who was added in the last roster update.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Unranked
Money quote: Can’t find much info or quotes.
Twitter feed: None to speak of.
Tweets of wonder: I’m impressed, if you search twitter for his name, there’s one tweet that references him, and I included it below.
What movie would Dino recommend for him?: It’s gotta be John Landis’s 1978 college classic Animal House. Pinjuh is a legacy. His dad was a walk-on with the track and football teams at Syracuse, so best to channel his inner Flounder and catch this flick.
Interesting nugget o’interest: While Pinjuh was a three sport athlete, football, track and swimming, he also was a member of the fishing club for Padua Franciscan, including placing in the state tournament two years ago. We may have to extoll the virtues of some Onondaga Lake bass fishing upon this young man. Before your guaranteed jokes, it’s a hidden gem of a fishery.
Two Bruins in our Fishing Club took 3rd place in the High School Open Bass Tournament at Mosquito Lake. The top two teams qualified for the National Championship. Congrats to juniors Lenny Bunsey and Joe Pinjuh II! pic.twitter.com/jkANRWgAHK

Let’s get a look at ya: Not much footage anywhere, but he has a few videos up on his Hudl.
