Hey, more good news for Syracuse! Following two straight weekends of player visits, Syracuse Orange football is making additions to the recruiting class of 2022. The latest addition? Cornerback Quan Peterson.

Peterson is a three-star prospect from Rock Hill, S.C., who’s currently at South Pointe High School. He has a bunch of offers from the likes of schools like Georgia Tech, Tulane, Marshall, Appalachian State, Georgia State and numerous others. After his campus visit a week ago, he had a lot of positive things to say about the program, which obviously went a long way toward securing his commitment.
So that makes seven players for 2022 so far. Peterson’s the third defensive back — joining Cornell Perry, who committed back in February and Jeremiah Wilson, who came aboard this week. That’s also six defensive players so far, as Syracuse continues to load up on that side of the ball to fill current or immediately upcoming depth chart needs. Peterson becomes the third player to commit this week now too, following Wilson and linebacker Mekhi Mason.
Welcome aboard, Quan! You can check out his highlights below.
