The Basketball Tournament is back as the Illinois Region is set to tip-off momentarily with No. 3 seed Boeheim’s Army squaring off against No. 14 seed Forces of Seoul in the first game of the day.
The group of former Syracuse Orange basketball stars — with some new additions — is back to compete once more in TBT. This time, they’ll go through the daunting Illinois Region. If Boeheim’s Army is to make a run, it will first have to get through Forces of Seoul, a group of former pro ballers with experience in South Korea.
The game tips at 12 p.m. ET and will air on ESPN. The ‘Cuse guys are favored by 9.5 points. Given that this will be the initial showing for Forces of Seoul in TBT, there’s a lot unknown about this particular group. Boeheim’s Army has pieced together its best roster yet, with Overseas Elite additions in DJ Kennedy and DeAndre Kane to join alongside hardened veteran Eric Devendorf.
