Get to Know Your Orange Man: #70, OT Wil Froumy

The Granite State lifting champion is hoping to see his first action

NCAA Football: Syracuse at Pittsburgh Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Name: Wil Froumy

Position: Offensive Line

Year: (Redshirt) Sophomore

Height: 6’6”

Weight: 303

Hometown: Exeter, N.H.

High School: Exeter

2020 stats: Froumy missed the season due to injury.

2021 projections: It’s unfortunate that Froumy was injured last season as he likely would have seen time for the Orange. With both starting tackles back he’ll be battling Anthony Red and Mark Petry for a backup spot and time on special teams units.

How’d he get here?: Wil chose the Syracuse Orange over New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Bryant.

What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars from 247, and two stars from Rivals.

Money Quote: From his Signing Day Froumy explained why he was ready to take on a new challenge at Syracuse

“I know I’m going to play with people who are going to be in the NFL, and that’s pretty cool,”

Twitter feed: He’s back at @wilfroumy

Tweet of Wonder: Don’t ask me to explain this

What movie would Dino recommend for him?: To stick with the Wil Wheaton theme this year, Dino goes with “Toy Soldiers.” This movie about trouble-making teens who band together when their boarding school is taken over will allow Dino to stress his message about banding together to overcome adversity.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Froumy was a high school teammate of former Boston College and current Miami Dolphins TE Hunter Long

Let’s get a look at ya: Everyone loves pancakes. Wonder if Wil’s been to Mother’s Cupboard yet
