A tradition as old as time: the Syracuse Orange busted some brackets, we made some t-shirts, and the rest of the tournament went on with plenty of excitement.
Starting with the women, congratulations to Antisocially Distant, who while only having 1⁄2 of the Final Four predicted correctly, did pick the Stanford Cardinal to win it all. In fact, only two brackets in the women’s challenge correctly picked Stanford to win it all, with the next most popular pick being UConn, who was upset by Arizona in the Final Four.
Onto the Men’s brackets, where Baylor’s championship was correctly predicted by 11 participants! However, only one could emerge the champ, and that goes to our end-to-end leader, All’s well that Braswells, who has now entered the bracket portal. They correctly predicted 3⁄4 of the Final Four, along with our second and third place finishers. However it was their superb performance in rounds 1 and 2 that kept them in the lead until the end.
Thanks to all who participated! The TNIAAM crew looks forward to doing much better next year.
