The Syracuse Orange lacrosse teams held their positions in the rankings this week after picking up wins last week.
The men’s team remains No. 9 in both polls after their 13-8 Thursday night win over in-state rival UAlbany Great Danes.

Meanwhile, the women’s team remains No. 3 after picking up two victories last week: an easy Tuesday afternoon road win over Georgetown, and an impressive comeback victory over ACC foe Virginia on Saturday afternoon.

As you can see from the above tweets, the ACC is just ridiculous in lacrosse on both sides (like always).
At No. 9, the men are ranked last in the ACC, with the other four teams making up the top five behind No. 1 Maryland.
On the women’s side, the ACC also makes up four of the top five teams, as well as six of the top 10.
In total, there are 13 lacrosse teams in the ACC, and 12 of them are currently ranked in the Top 20. Just incredible strength across the board.
Up Next
The men will play Saturday at 3 PM on ACC Network in a huge ACC showdown with the No. 5 North Carolina Tar Heels.
Both teams have lost their last two conference games, so this is a crucial game for both teams to try to get back on track.
Carolina on our minds this week.

The women have an incredibly busy week with three games, all on the road.
Later today, they hit I-90 East for a road trip to face Katie Rowan and the 8-4 UAlbany Great Danes. The game will be at 3 PM on America East TV.
They follow that up with a weekend trip to the Bluegrass State for a pair of games against the No. 15/18 Louisville Cardinals. The front end is Friday at 3 PM while the back end is Sunday at 12 PM.
Lot’s of chances to watch the lax teams this week, so be sure to check them out and...
Let’s Go Orange!!!
