MegaThread: Syracuse men’s basketball vs. West Virginia / Orange women vs. South Dakota State

Because reasons, the Syracuse Orange men’s and women’s basketball teams will basically play at the same time today. This has happened before, though obviously it’s a little more problematic when both are in the NCAA Tournament.

So consider this your home for commentary on both teams throughout the early evening (unless we get too many comments in the first half and then we’ll post a second half thread as well).

First, at 5:15 p.m. ET, the 11-seed Syracuse men’s basketball team takes on 3-seed West Virginia Mountaineers in the second round. That game’s Bankers Life Fieldhouse (home of the Indiana Pacers) and will be televised on CBS.

Then at 5:30 p.m. ET, the 8th-seeded Orange women’s basketball team will face off with the 9-seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the first round of the tournament.
