The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team will be the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball Tournament. The tournament will take place t the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina next week, March 3-7.
The Orange will battle the winner of the No. 12 Pittsburgh/No. 13 Boston College game on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. EST. Pitt and BC will go head to head on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Syracuse swept both the Panthers (Jan. 28, Feb. 7) and Eagles (Dec. 20, Feb. 25) earlier this season.
The first three rounds of the tournament will air on RSN, while the semifinals will be on ACC Network and the championship game will air on ESPN2. A limited number of tickets will be on sale for the tournament.
The winner of Thursday’s game will advance and play No. 4 Florida State on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Syracuse is 7-7 all-time in the ACC Tournament.

The Orange finished the regular season on Sunday with a loss to No. 2 North Carolina State. The team went 12-7 overall and 9-7 in conference play. ‘Cuse also finished the regular season with an impressive 8-1 mark at home.
Kiara Lewis is leading the Orange in scoring with 14.5 points per contest. Three-time ACC Freshman of the Week Kamilla Cardoso is averaging 14.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Tiana Mangakahia is contributing 11.6 points and 7.5 assists per contest, while Emily Engstler is adding 9.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game off the bench.
