Welcome back, Fake Nunes fans. We’re here for another season of Syracuse Orange ACC Basketball so let’s see if the Orange can get a conference road win.
Opponent: Clemson Tigers
Location: Clemson, SC
Students: 25,822 students who would be open to Dabo coaching hoops in the off-season
The 2020-21 Fake Nunes Equation of Tumult (#FNET)
You wanted something more ridiculous than RPI and the NCAA gave you NET. We give you more ridiculousness so we’re bringing back a revised FNET metric.
Head Coach Bench Attire and Mask:
Brad Brownell looks like he should be Dabo’s offensive line coach and while we applaud the purple there’s no excuse for wearing a mask like this.

Jim Boeheim can’t believe that we’re still doing this sideline mask thing since he hasn’t properly worn his in 2021.

Advantage: Syracuse
NBA 2K Playability:
Aamir Simms is a solid all-around player but a team that relies on defense to win means a boring video game choice.
Advantage: Syracuse
Basketball Program Hashtag:
#ClemsonGrit vs None
We’re not fans of the whole portrayal of college athletes like some hard-working blue-collar job but it is better than nothing
Advantage: Clemson
ACC Social Media Favorites:
Aamir Simms vs Marek Dolezaj
Two veteran players go toe-to-toe in this one. There’s not much to dislike about either of these guys.
Advantage: Push

1.2/10 This wasn’t the something special we thought we’d see and it’s technically not a jacket toss but h/t @OrangeFaithful for this gif sure to be used frequently to react to big Syracuse moments.
Prediction:
This one might get really ugly to watch but it’s Saturday afternoon and what better way to get ready for the Super Bowl than watching two college basketball teams score less than the Bucs and Chiefs. Syracuse wins on a late basket and those Saturday drinks go down a little easier.
